FIP Asia Padel Cup 2025 Set to Take Place in Doha, Qatar

The first-ever Asian team padel tournament marks a historic milestone for the sport

Doha, Qatar will host the inaugural FIP Asia Padel Cup 2025 from October 17 to 24, organized by the International Padel Federation (FIP) in collaboration with the Qatar Tennis Federation (QTF) and Padel Asia. The event marks the first-ever continental team competition for padel in Asia, highlighting the sport’s growing influence across the region.

The tournament will be divided into two main phases. Phase 2 (October 17–19) will feature 17 teams ranked 5th to 21st in the Asia–Oceania standings, split into four groups. The winner of each group will advance to the Final 8, scheduled from October 20 to 24 at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex, one of the region’s most advanced racket sport venues, which has previously hosted World Championships and the Qatar Major.

FIP President Luigi Carraro described the tournament as a celebration of the sport’s true spirit and unity among nations. “Major continental competitions safeguard the essence of our sport and reveal it to the world,” he said. Meanwhile, Tareq Zainal, President of Padel Asia and Tournament Director, emphasized that this event reflects the ambition and remarkable growth of padel in Asia, and aims to build a stronger, more connected community shaping the sport’s global future.
