Indonesia Men’s Team Begins Their Journey at the FIP Asia Padel Cup 2025

Indonesia showcases resilience on their first day in Doha

The Indonesia men’s padel team officially began their campaign at the FIP Asia Padel Cup 2025 on Friday, October 17, 2025, at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex in Doha, Qatar. In their opening Group A fixture, Indonesia faced Bahrain in three competitive and spirited matches. Although the results didn’t fully go their way, the team displayed determination and a strong will to compete at the Asian level.

Bahrain took the first match 6–1, 6–0, but the Indonesian pairs grew in confidence in the following encounters. The second match was tightly contested, ending 6–4, 7–6, while the third also showed moments of resilience before finishing 6–3, 6–0. Every point earned reflected the team’s discipline, effort, and steady improvement throughout their training period in Jakarta.

Despite not securing a win on opening day, the performance serves as an important foundation for the matches ahead. Continuous technical evaluation and tactical adjustments will help the team perform better in the next rounds. The unwavering support from Indonesian fans remains a vital source of motivation as the players continue their journey in the tournament.
