Indonesia Women’s National Padel Team Defeats Australia, Opens Bigger Chance to Reach FIP Asia Cup 2025 Semifinals

The Red and White squad delivers an outstanding performance, toppling a seeded team and keeping their semifinal hopes alive.

Doha, Qatar — October 20, 2025.
Indonesia’s women’s national padel team once again made history at the FIP Asia Cup 2025 with a stunning victory over Australia, one of the tournament’s top-seeded teams and a strong title contender alongside Japan.

In the match against Australia, Indonesia secured another clean sweep with a 3–0 scoreline. The contest was intense from the start, but Indonesia’s fighting spirit and team cohesion proved decisive. With solid strategy and strong determination, the Red and White squad overcame Australia to claim an important win in this crucial phase of the tournament.

This victory is a remarkable achievement, considering Australia’s reputation as one of the most experienced teams on paper. The result widens Indonesia’s opportunity to advance to the semifinals and strengthens the women’s team’s status as a rising power in Asian padel.

“This is a historic and meaningful win for the development of padel in Indonesia,” said the Secretary General of the Indonesian Padel Federation (PBPI). “Our athletes showed tremendous courage and discipline on the court. We are very proud of their effort.”

With this result, Indonesia grows more confident to go further in the FIP Asia Cup 2025 and continue raising the nation’s flag on the international stage.

Sincere gratitude goes to BCA, Juaraga, Majene, Lemonilo, Semen Indonesia, and Royal Sports for their support of our national team. (*)
